We consider programs that either brand themselves as an incubator or those that don't have a "structured program" as such.

Overview: A year-long incubation and investment program that provides early-stage companies with investment, expertise, and support from the mid-Atlantic region’s leading payer and community health system, Healthworx, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and LifeBridge Health.

Anthem Digital Incubator

Overview: The Anthem Digital Incubator is an invitation-only initiative provideing resident companies with funding, unique growth and educational opportunities, as well as customized coaching for their innovative solutions. Through the work of ADI, Anthem is able to support high-potential digital healthcare companies and work to positively impact the health for humanity.

Elementa Labs

Elementa Labs By Mount Sinai Health System

Overview: Elementa Labs is a 12-week virtual incubator program powered by MSIP that helps position healthcare and biotechnology startups for the next stage in their development.  The program allows these entities to explore ways to strategically align their efforts with the Mount Sinai Health System and gain access to subject matter expertise in healthcare and science, allowing for a better understanding of their customers and the potential advancement of their core technology platforms.       

Typical Stage of Companies: Pre-seed  or Seed-stage  companies in the process of raising their next round of funding (Seed, Bridge or Series A)

Program Terms: Upon acceptance, Mount Sinai will receive a small SAFE in the company

Overview: HITLAB helps healthcare startups, emerging companies, and established businesses with strategy, customized research, rapid scientific studies, user experience design, and more. For startups if you have an idea you’d like to see created they help entrepreneurs to develop industry-altering ideas and bring them to life. For  emerging healthcare technologies they test and verify their solutions through programs like Breakthrough. Lastly for established businesses, they provide strategy for user experience design, and help companies create healthcare solutions that last.

Typical Stage of Companies: Early-stage founders must first apply and get accepted to our accelerator programs, ODF and ODX. Once accepted, founders have open access to the ODH community and resources.

Plug and Play Health

Plug and Play Health

Overview: Plug and Play Health is an open innovation platform that connects startups to corporations who want to disrupt the healthcare industry. They focus on digital health technologies that challenge clinical practices, improve data analytics, and enhance the patient journey across the continuum of care.

StartUp Health

StartUp Health

Overview: StartUp Health has a unique model for investing designed to support entrepreneurs at any stage of growth (from a fast-scaling company that just raised a Series A round to two doctorpreneurs who are just getting started or undergoing tech transfer). They invest in Health Transformers from around the world (their portfolio spans 27 countries and six continents) and across any of their 12 Health Moonshots.

Typical Stage of Companies: Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A

Program Terms: For Seed companies, their standard deal provides each team with a $200,000+ benefit package (which includes a $20,000 cash stipend) for an equity position of 2% using a post-money SAFE
